What is Titanium damascus Rods?
Timascus Rods (Mokuti ) is composed of two or three Grades titanium alloy(typically pure titanium alloy and Ti6Al4V), Titanium damascus is made by forged welding with heat and pressure to have different grade titanium alloy to forge laminated together .
The different titanium alloys color through the use of heat or anodizing. Each sort of titanium alloy has the potential for a new color.
Because only the general direction and number of layers of the pattern can be controlled during the processing, Each Timascus rods is unique
 How to heat anodizing Timascus rods coloring ?
There are two ways to color Timascus.
1. Electric current anodizing
2. Using heat coloring Timascus (This is the best way to color Timascus )
Before we start to heat coloring ,you need tools sandpaper, polishing machine, gas torch(propane flame)
• Polish your Timascus rod final desired finish to a mirror finish (The polished surface will be brighter colors)
• Clean with alcohol to remove any polish grease residues. Wash with water and dry with a lint-free cloth.
• Slowly heat with a flame burning at a medium rate, Keep the Timascus rod to spin at a constant speed ,the heat was distributed through the Titanium Damascus rod, It’s important to remove the heat every few seconds so as not to overheat the desired finish.
• Remove the torch when you got the color you want . It went from a bronze color, to a gold, to a blue, to a purple.
